The Homepage of Michael W. Ryan

    In June of 2006, Michael Wayne Ryan was handed an enormous and shocking piece of life-changing news.
   The photo above shows Mike in very good spirits outside the UCSD Thornton Hospital immediately after his recovery from open-heart-surgery due to a dangerous blood clot.
   It was also there, in San Diego, that Mike first learned of a much more serious existing health condition that would inevitably and forever change the course of his life.
